Porcelanosa GreenHorizon is an immersive experience connecting the environmental crisis with Porcelanosa’s ecological commitment, featured at the XXX Internacional Exhibition by Porcelanosa Group. It consists of two multi-sensory installations exploring raw materials and potential futures.
The first installation includes an interactive screen in the main hall, showing the Porcelanosa logo enclosed by a moving cloud of clay and sand, symbolizing the significance of these materials. This screen, using Kinect camera technology and Touchdesigner software, detects user movements, creating unique silhouettes and involving users in the visual evolution.
The second installation features an interactive timeline navigable with a rotating ceramic piece, allowing users to explore two future scenarios: a dystopian, polluted one and an ecological, harmonious one. The content showcased was created using Unity and Unreal Engine 5.
This timeline is projected on screens within an immersive cube, depicting views from a 3D-modeled modern minimalist house. The background changes based on user interaction, with an air quality widget indicating the current scenario. Users experience three views: a present-day forest house, a polluted future, and an environmentally balanced future. The immersive cube integrates sounds or alarms, varying artificial wind, and scents that change with the scenario..
